    Head Coach Chad Dowland
 
Chad Dowland is entering his first year as the Head U17 Legion Baseball Coach.  Coach Dowland is a graduate of Marian University with a BA in English.  Chad is the Student Activities Director at St. Lawrence Seminary High School in Mt. Calvary and lives in Plymouth with his wife April.  He has coached at St. Lawrence Seminary High School for the past eleven years.  Chad is currently the JV basketball coach and the assistant varsity baseball coach at St. Lawrence.  Along with coaching basketball in the winter and baseball in the spring, Chad coached summer baseball at New Holstein High School from 2002-2012.  During this time he also served as freshman and varsity assistant football coach, helping the Huskies to four playoff appearances.  Chad also serverd as a JV baseball coach for two years before taking over as head varsity baseball coach in 2004.  Under Coach Dowland the Huskies finished in first place in the EWC in 2007, 08 and 09.  They also finished in second place in 2004, 05, and 10.  Coach Dowland's teams qualified for the WIAA State Tournament in 2005, 07, 08, 09, and 10.  The 2007 Husky team claimed second place at the WIAA State Tournament!
